VISIT US!
Troop 806 holds its troop meetings at 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Monday evenings
at Woodlake United Methodist Church. Monday meetings that follow a campout
are short meetings from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Webelos leaders who plan to visit the
troop with their Webelos Patrols should contact the troop a few weeks prior
to the visit. This gives the Boy Scouts a chance to plan a meeting in which
the Webelos can participate.
JANUARY FEES!
In January Second-year Webelos need to register as Cub Scouts
with their Pack. The fees you pay at that time will cover your membership
with the BSA, Cub Scout Awards (Arrow of Light), and your "Boy's Life"
subscription. When you join the troop the fees you are charged are not a
duplication of the above mentioned fees. For a Webelos to Troop fee list see
below.
CROSSOVER!
It is STRONGLY suggested that Cub Scout Packs hold their
crossover ceremonies at the end of February or the first part of March. The
competition for slots at Summer Camp is fierce and by March the troop is
already planning Scout Summer Camp.
MORE ABOUT SUMMER CAMP!
The troop can hold only a limited number of empty slots for Webelos
beyond the middle of March. Second-year Webelos who plan to join Troop 806
can reserve a space when camp sign up starts at the first of March. This
will guarantee a spot even if your Pack has not held their Crossover
Ceremony. We encourage all Second year Webelos to sign up for Summer Camp.
Boys who attend Summer Camp tend to stay in scouting. If you would like to
be contacted when Troop 806 begins registration for summer camp, click on
the mail icon below. In your e-mail message please give your phone number.
