Webelos Ceremonies

The two most important ceremonies for Webelos are the Arrow of Light Ceremony and the Crossover Ceremony. The Arrow of Light is Cub Scouting's highest award and the Crossover marks the time when Webelos move from the Pack to a Boy Scout Troop. Many Packs have one ceremony and combine the two events, but other Packs prefer to have the Arrow of Light Ceremony at the Blue and Gold Banquet in February and the Crossover Ceremony at their monthly Pack meeting in March. Boy Scout Troops prefer to take in Webelos at the end of March or at the beginning of April. This gives the Troop time to prepare the new scouts for Boy Scout Summer Camp.
